Configuring Document Root

Configuring document root for a website is simply assigning default status to a folder/directory on your hosting control panel. It’s super easy and can be done in less than a minute. Here’s how you can configure Document Root on Plesk.
- Login to your Plesk Panel.
- Click on ‘Websites & Domains’.
- Next to your domain name, click on Hosting Settings.
- In the field ‘Document Root’, specify the folder name that you wish to be document root.
- Scroll down to click OK.
That’s it. You’ve successfully changed document root for Plesk panel.
Note: Document root cannot be modified on Linux cPanel hosting on Linux cPanel
